Career Goals

I am goal orientated, with the aim of undertaking research in the field of childhood mental health and wellness using the Goulding SleepTalk Method (GSTM). With over 30 years of case studies available, I plan to conduct retrospective research, selecting a specific issue that has been a common thread during this period to review in-depth and compare the effectiveness of GSTM to other therapies. Furthermore, to assist in research of the GSTM globally and to encourage involvement from other Consultants.

A unique achievement in my professional life was transitioning from the UK to Australia and developing cross-cultural awareness. I built a successful model for HypnoBirthing in Australia, expanding its reach with the endorsement of the Australian College of Midwives. In South Korea, my work impacted the way childbirth is viewed and led to the opening of the first natural birth centre in Seoul. My leadership skills were instrumental in creating a thriving network of practitioners and developing the fastest-growing sector of HypnoBirthing globally. I was recognized for my work in bringing HypnoBirthing to Australia.
